Warning:
If you know me you know I am a wordy person, I always have a story to tell and I want moments fully documented. I want my kids to look back and have all the details, you can think of this site as our family journal, or more importantly the momma diary.

Spring Break- Day 3- Trip to Mesa Temple for Achievmtnt Days
On Wednesday Katrena's achievement day group went to the Mesa Temple and saw the Joseph Smith movie and short film about families. They then went out and looked at the Temple and talked about eternal families. Ava and I tagged along as they needed one more driver. Although Katrena had seen the movie before it really upset her to see Joseph Smith tarred and feathered as well as to the Saints displaced from their home, being thrown around and their property distroyed. So we went out and listened to a presentation about Christs life and ministry, after a few minutes a few other girls from the ward joined us. That video is so powerful and moving and evoked alot of questions on our ride home from the temple. I love when we are on a long drive and Trena just asks me lots of questions or shares stories from school, I feel they will be gone before I know it and I just want to grab on to every moment that I can.

Those are beautiful pictures. Aren't those moments precious?! I know Gwen is only three but it scares me how fast time seems to go by. I too want to hold on to every moment. I think it's so great that we have blogs, so we can remember and share with others those precious moments.
WHAT THE? She is in Achievement Days? I remember when that child was born, babysitting her, seeing her go to Nursery, Primary and now this? Man oh Man! She is a cutie.
I love the temple! What a great activity.
Looks like you guys had fun! Hey I know this is kind of late notice but if you guys are bored tomorrow during priesthood session you are welcome to come over and play and have treats. Just call me or leave me a comment on my blog.
I'm reading the book The 19th Wife and it's so fascinating. I've been reading about Joseph Smith and the Temple ... neat to come to your blog and see it here.
