Warning:

If you know me you know I am a wordy person, I always have a story to tell and I want moments fully documented. I want my kids to look back and have all the details, you can think of this site as our family journal, or more importantly the momma diary.

More photos from the hospital, july 25th

Words cannot begin to express the joy I feel with our new bundle of joy. As most of you know who read our blog, our journey to extend our family has not been an easy task and one definitely full of heartache and pain. I am so thankful that Heavenly Father has blessed me with two beautiful miracle daughters. I feel so blessed. I love my husband so much and I am so truly thankful for our little Ava. I don't know if I have ever explained why Ava got her name, so I will do so now. Ava means bird like, now meanings really don't matter to us, but we have a ton of birds here at our apartments and we have had a few bird visitors in our apartment, well one day Brent was on the phone with his mom and we had been throwing around different names one of which was Ava. As Brent was talking to his mom about our numerous bird story he said its as if they are coming to welcome the newest bird, and it kind of stuck. Ava's middle name is Angeline, this is Brent's moms middle name and means angel. I truly believe she is our angel sent to us by our loving father in heaven as our rainbow after the storm...

Here is our sleeping beauty

Our little Buddah!

I don't think anyone was more surprised by the feelings that Brent had towards our new daughter than him himself. For someone that wanted a boy so bad, I'd like to see him trade her in now. I hear him singing to her all the time, he is so sweet with her.

This photo is just to show off how long her hair is.

She did really well in the hospital and regardless of having a c-section they were ready to release me after 48 hours but gave me the option to stay 48 beyond that. I felt great, and was good to come home, but Ava's body temp kept dropping and they wanted to make sure her weight was stable, so we stayed one additional day.
