I know right, its about time I got around to finishing blogging about our summer vacation!
We decided since we were so close to DC we might as well make a day trip out of it. We arrived Sunday night in Maryland and spent the night to make sure we got an early start on Monday morning. We were going to be walking everywhere and new that we would really only have time for one museum, so we we went to the Natural History Museum. (Now if you are wondering, yes I was bummed, I REALLY wanted to go to the American History Museum. I wanted to go for two reasons, one- I LOVE American history and two- we were in our countries capital!)
I thought this was a really cool posing, I like how the animals were not just there, they looked as they would in their natural habitats.

This squirrel had no fear and got super close to Katrena and Ava (she's in the stroller under the umbrella).

Like I said we unfortunately only got to one museum and we didn't make it over to the Jefferson Memorial, other than that I think we did pretty darn good.
