We started off the morning at the Waffle Kitchen, my grandma used to waitress here and we always come here at least once for breakfast.
We then went by my Grandma's baby brothers shop, Freddie to see him.
And then we head to the beach!!! Topsail Island
We are not sure what this pirate ship is, if its for tours or a dinner cruise, but it was cool
I always think its so cool how they store all the boats.
We then grabbed a snack/lunch at Hardees' and ran to a beach shop to find a postcard. I love how this store has a giant alligator on the front and you enter through the mouth.
When we got home my Aunt Alice had prepared dinner for us, cornbread, homemade creamed corn (straight from the cob), cranberry beans, the peas we'd shelled last night, homemade sweet potatoes, chicken and dumplings and cornbread and yummy blueberry cream pie for dessert! It was super fabulous and Katrena commented how much better the peas, beans and vegetables were and we told her its because she was eating organic straight from the garden no yucky stuff and she said that she like it so much better, I have to agree.
