Warning:

If you know me you know I am a wordy person, I always have a story to tell and I want moments fully documented. I want my kids to look back and have all the details, you can think of this site as our family journal, or more importantly the momma diary.

I am four months old and I have the bandaids to prove it...

Ava went in for her four month check up on 11/25/08.

Doctor says she is doing well and is on schedule developmentally, except for rolling over. Well there is no mystery why she is not! This turkey butt is spoiled rotten and won't lay and play, sit or swing more than 10 minutes before she screams for attention. Of course it could also be that she is end to end in her bassinet with no room to move and Daddy won't buy her a mattress for her crib because he doesn't want her in the other room! Again, spoiled. So her and mommy now have to practice rolling over during the day.

4 month stats:
I weigh 13 lb, 8 oz (50th-75th percentile)
I am 24 1/2 inches long (75th percentile)
Not bad for a tiny 5 lb 14 oz, 3 weeks and 2 days early baby, huh?

Not bad at all! She's a cutie. We waited until Leah was 3 months old to switch her to a bigger bassinet that was bought for us. I would wake up to her right next to me (I was so afraid of having her too far from me at night, yeah I'm crazy paranoid) to her completely rolled over on her tummy with her head lifted up smiling at me! The best way to wake up. I don't blame Brent one bit, I'd want someone that cute with me always!

As always, sweet cutie little girl! Hey, I have a crib mattress you can have. Long story, but we have an extra. It's in good condition. Next time you're over, you're welcome to check it out! :)

See that sad little face. That is one of the reason why I am not sure for another one. :) Ava is so darn cute. Thank you for letting me hold her when you were here.

Kim, both of your girls are gorgeous. I love their bows and how they always look so cute and put together. You do a great job. Okay, so I wanted to tell you where the store is. You exit at Peoria on the 17 going south and turn left. You go down to 19th and take a right and about half a mile down it's on your right. It's called SASS and they have the best elastic lace for hair bands. The prices are ridiculous, too. It's like .50 a yard. Nuts! Have fun! Call me if you get lost or need better directions. It is kind of in the ghetto a bit.
