If you know me you know I am a wordy person, I always have a story to tell and I want moments fully documented. I want my kids to look back and have all the details, you can think of this site as our family journal, or more importantly the momma diary.

Happy Birthday to our Ava Lu!!!

Its so hard to believe that our beautiful little miracle is 3 years old, with each passing year we grow to recognize more and more what miracles our girls are.

When she woke up and came into our room we wished her a Happy Birthday and then proceeded to tell her all about the day she was born until she was good and embarrassed.

Then we went into the kitchen where she was able to see her fun Birthday decor (we actually switched to Tangled decor for dinner, table cloth, napkins, plates, cups, etc.)

I know this looks like a ton of presents but their are presents here from two sets of grandparents and 2 great grandma's plus mom and dad.

This is the Tangled Golden Sun banner I made for her Birthday, I am going to hang it in her room.

She got to open her presents from Grammy Ann before church!
She got a beautiful sterling silver Tinker Bell necklace and a paint kit.

All dressed for church, she was so excited to be going to church on her Birthday, she even wore her new necklace from Grammy Ann. This was her new Birthday Celebration outfit, and my first attempt at a tulle skirt. She took the treats to Nursery today for her Birthday, she helped me make Chocolate chip zucchini muffins her favorite.

After church we got to open up presents: from Grandma and Grandpa Watts she got Zany bandz that were Tinker Bell, a Tinker Bell look and find book, a bracelet made by grandma and a pretty new church outfit. She got some money, a beach ball and dress up jewelry from Great Grandma Hanson. Grandma and Grandpa North gave her a stuffed dog, Cleo, and a really fun skirt, and some money. Amazingly I was so caught up in the moment I forgot to take any pictures during all of this fun! She also got birthday cards from her dr, Grandad Jackie (w/ money), and Great Grandma Humes (w/ money), boy does this kid have a lot of family!

Next up mom and dad's presents! And the highlight, the gift with the biggest reaction, TINKER BELL PANTIES!!! I know crazy right! I think this is because when I bought them she was with me, and as I was looking at them I was like shoot they don't have your size, and I snuck them in the cart. Then I found them cheaper somewhere else, so I pulled the same trick again and returned the first pair. As she opened them along with Tinker Bell pajamas she screamed they do have them in my size!!! Priceless moment!

Second biggest reaction Flynn Rider

As she went to open the next present as soon as she saw the package she said I think this is Flynn's best friend Rapunzel. She was right.

And then these kissing best friends had to kiss through the box.

Next was the Rapunzel dress up clothes: dress, shoes, and homemade tiara and braid from mom

And last the Princess set from Target I bought this months ago around Easter when it was 50% off, I almost didn't give it to her and then decided I already had it and it was such a good deal...

Here she is with her loot and her sister! Thank goodness for technology, even though Trena is in Utah right now she was able to skype with us while Ava opened her presents. We set the computer up on the counter and she was able to be there for every squeal!

All dressed up

That night we had our good friends the Whitings over for dinner, they gave Ava the cutest little Tinker Bell jewelry box with little Tinker Bell figurines. For dinner we had BBQ chicken sandwiches, broccoli salad, spinach tortelini salad, and fruit.

We couldn't leave Siena out so we had to make her a Rapunzel braid too! Siena was so adorable she kept saying "just like Rapunzel" and stroking the braid. I made hers a little shorter because I decided Ava's was too long.

Our Tangled Birthday cake, when we picked it up at the store she kept screaming "Best Day Ever!"

Can you tell they were excited!

And they were stealing the icing faster than daddy could cut it!

Dress up while the moms and dads played a trivia game on the xbox

And she was out with in 5 minutes of our guests leaving

And of course after she's asleep we realize that we never took any photos of her with either of us!

So here we are, I know beautiful right?

And I would say her 3rd Birthday was a success!

Happy Birthday my beautiful girl, we love you!
