Warning:

If you know me you know I am a wordy person, I always have a story to tell and I want moments fully documented. I want my kids to look back and have all the details, you can think of this site as our family journal, or more importantly the momma diary.

Yard Sale Find...

On our way home from swim lessons today Ava and I drove by every yard sale we saw a sign for, I was on the lookout for an entry table. Well, we did not find an entry table, but we found this instead with a bathtime Cabbage Patch Kid. The doll had a bottle, robe, booties, diaper, powder, and wash cloth. This great Playskool 3 in 1 nursery is in GREAT condition no writing on it and with batteries in it we new immediately that it worked great too. It came with a blanket, bottle, baby food, spoon and baby wash and powder. The light comes on, plays music and you can hear the baby cry in the monitor, and the side rail of the crib goes up and down. The clock on the front also says what time it is: time to change the diaper, snack time, bath time and bedtime.

Ava absolutely adores it and if she hadn't been with me I would have saved it for her birthday! I think the baby took 50 baths today, and they were thorough baths, with lots of sweet words and kisses as she tucked her into bed. And I love that every time she goes to have the baby do something she has the clock say what she's doing.

So how much you ask, $10, and it was a fundraiser to help AVHS wrestlers go to Australia.

P.S. I would have paid more

P.P.S. The lady had sold an entry table that morning, I guess we should have stopped on the way to swim lessons. :)
