December - Pre Christmas!

You just have to start out December with tree decorating!

Ava hanging up all of her ornaments and the families too.

Trena's turn, I love that she's embarrassed to have her picture taken.

With the Christmas music playing the decorating always leads to a lot of dancing. Love the fingers.

Love how you can always tell where the littlest one has hung the most ornaments :)

Next up Christmas Breakfast at the Church with Santa of course:

Where Ava had planned on asking Santa for a swing set but at the last minute sprung on everyone a Tiana baby doll, thank goodness Santa had a hunch this might happen before black friday :)

Ava and I did a lot of yummy baking (Trena was already in Utah)

We were going to drive to Salt Lake on the 24th so that we could be in Utah on Christmas, so we decided on the 23rd to go and look at Christmas lights. There was an awesome house with lights timed to music. The plus side to living in a small town is that both times we went there was no one there to so we could just sit and watch.

While we there Santa had made a quick stop by our house!!!


He turned on our Christmas lights

and left a special note for Ava on our tree.

The note said :

Ava,

I thought of something you might like for Christmas, but new that you were going to Utah and wouldn't be able to fit it in your car. I hope that you will enjoy it and please remember to share with your sister and soon to be baby brother. Go outside to see your present.

Unfortunately we only got video of her reading the note and going outside to see her present.

The Present!
We will be moving in a year or two so didn't want anything big to have to leave behind but this $80 black friday deal was perfect.

We then also gave her a present from mom and dad that would be kind of big to haul around. SURPRISE!!!

Brent got a steal of a deal on this bike, $20, of course its a balance bike with no pedals so she wasn't really sure what to think about it, but loves it just the same.

And then we were off to Utah the next morning.
